A Special Friend

Hey folks, guess what..........I have received something from Jason;), its a lovely peach colored evening gown. I called to thank him, and he said.........he wants me to wear it on our first date. Ghoshhhhh I am crazy now, looking forward for him to come down. He promised me a movie, a candlelit dinner, a moon light drive and that is what I always prefer. Our friendship is taking a very special turn and I know we both wanted it for ages.

Friendship grows out of chance ..
meeting a mere glance & then a smile..
& touches the heart in more ways than one!
Isn't it great how we have grown..
from being perfect strangers to who we're today!
I am so fortunate to have found a wonderful friend like you!
Happy Friendship day to you!

I know Jason since we were in college. He was my class mate and gradually we became very good friends, me, Natalie and Jason. We always liked each other but never had the nerve to express because of the fear of rejection. We didn't wanted to let the other know about our feelings and to hide it we never missed any opportunity to pull the other's leg....:) It was really silly, but obviously we had to do this just to camouflage our feelings. But when Jason went to NYC, it was simply unbearable for us to hide it any more and our eyes spoke as we parted in the airport. Though we have not said anything but I think this time I must do it. Natalie and Amy keeps on telling me the same............and now that we are going for dates together and also giving a handsome amount of hints to the other so even I feel its time to reveal our feelings. I am planning to speak to him as he is also coming to my friendship day party. He also promised me help in the last minute bric-a-brack preparation and my friends told me they would make enough space for me to be alone with him. Hope it really works out.........hehehe.

Well, finally I am done with my shopping and have also booked flowers for my colleagues and professional friends. I will start sending the ecards on Friendship Day eve. I am checking every minute details so that nothing get messed up at the last moment...........comeon.......I can't let that happen when Jason is around;) Natalie will be here by Saturday evening and I am taking her to the coffee shop and make her feel cosy with a cuppa out there.

It's our favorite! Cosy, quaint, antique -- classic, know what I mean?
